Volunteering
You don't have to be an adventurer like Bear Grylls to get involved with Scouting. Do you have first aid knowledge? Are you good with numbers? Handy in the kitchen? Or are you a DIY whizz? Can you boil water? Make sandcastles? Plant daffodils? We all have useful skills and you can volunteer and help in many ways. We have many opportunities for you to help either with the young people's activities or with our administration and maintenance. Learn more about volunteering and Get Involved!
One of my big missions is to encourage people across the UK who have the time, enthusiasm and ability, whatever it is, to put something back into their communities. It's about a lot of people doing a little. I don't want to hear any more about kids who can't join because of a lack of leaders. We've got a brilliant, talented nation and I want some of that talent to be used to support young people.

Don't have time yourself, know someone who might? Please feel free to print off a poster or send or print off this leaflet or even put a few through likely looking doors in your neighbourhood.
Vacancies
- Leaders and helpers – We are always looking for new Leaders, Assistant Leaders and backroom helpers. We are flexible and split roles between people so no one works in isolation or has to do more than they want. So get in contact and let's talk through what we can offer you. Look below for a description of what you might be involved in.
